Our client in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Director of Hardware Engineering to manage and provide direction to small team of hardware Electrical Engineers, Firmware designers, and Mechanical engineers. This role will be responsible for the following:
- Define and own the hardware design roadmap and navigate the tradeoffs between performance, quality, time to market, and cost.
- Lead customer and partner technical interface meetings, discussions, and follow-ups.
- Responsible for the successful delivery of SG next generation hardware products including architecture, design, development, integration, and test.
- Lead, develop and grow a highly technical hardware team with a passion for shipping products in the Lottery Retail Product Industry
- Some international travel will be required to define system level solutions, lead systems level integration, and validate performance after installation.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years of complex hardware design engineering experience.
- 5+ years of Electrical/Hardware Engineering leadership/management experience.
- Cross-functional interface experience across software, product and manufacturing teams.
- Proven success in shipping complex electrical systems on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication, presentation and influential experience.
- Ability to travel to various international countries for systems integration.
