Our premier client is seeking a Senior ASIC/SoC Design Engineer to architect and design custom Artificial Intelligent (AI) semiconductor integrated system-level chips for the gaming, automotive, and data center industries. This role has locations in Silicon Valley and Dallas, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Architects, Chip Leads, and Customers on SOC IP design, development, timing closure, power analysis, methodology alignment, and program execution to ensure pre-silicon and post silicon targets are met.
- Architect, integrate and optimize IP blocks across various gaming, automotive and data center designs.
- Evaluate and lead the micro-architectural and RTL design for various blocks.
- Evaluate options and collaborate with other design teams to achieve the right micro-architectural tradeoffs for the product.
- Develop RTL structures to ensure correct connectivity. Build clock, power, etc.
- Work with customers and IP vendors to understand IP solutions to select and integrate appropriate IP solution.
Requirements:
- MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or similar education background and experience.
- 10+ years of successful SoC/ASIC design experience
- RTL design experience for gaming, automotive and cloud products.
- Experience developing and debugging high speed digital ICs.
- Solid understanding and experience with SOC integration methods such as DFT/MBIST, CDC, Static LP checks, Synthesis etc.
