Our premier San Francisco-based startup client is hiring a Founding Fullstack Engineer to develop unique Reinforcement Learning (RL) environments for the purpose of training AI models.
Note: All candidates MUST have at least 5 years of industry experience for this role. We are not currently accepting recent college graduates at this time. All candidates MUST currently live in the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Own and deliver core product and infrastructure systems end-to-end.
- Work directly with founders across engineering, product, and operations to define priorities and execution strategy.
- Partner directly with enterprise customers to understand domain workflows and translate them into agent training environment tasks.
- Build workflows and internal tools that scale our workforce of expert labelers and specialists in the coding domain.
- Make critical decisions that influence product direction, roadmap, and long-term culture.
Requirements:
- BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar education and experience.
- 5+ years of fullstack engineering experience (React, TypeScript, FastAPI) developing ML, LMM or RL applications.
- Fullstack experience with a focus on backend and infra knowledge.
- Must have experience with backend development in Python, FastAPI and AWS Infrastructure.
- Must have a strong design to work in a fast paced startup environment as a founding
Salary Range:
- $200K – $3000K
- Startup Equity (Stock Options)

- Strongly prefer candidates that reside in the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Will provide relocation assistance to the right candidate (that resides in the United States).
- Will accept STEM – OPT candidates.
