Our SF Bay Area fabless semiconductor client is seeking a Senior RFIC Design Engineer to design a ground-breaking power consumption automotive radar chip that will successfully communicate across multiple 5G satellite communication systems. You will be a part of a small design team that will be responsible for the front-end circuit architecture and design.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, testing and architecting analog circuits for RF front-end blocks and products.
- Conduct system-level modeling of phased arrays, including custom chips and antennas.
- Simulation and model circuits, chip packages, PCBs and antennas
- Perform RF bench-top and over-the-air testing
Requirements:
- MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or similar education background and experience
- 5+ years of experience front-end circuit architecture and design, including key blocks like LNAs, PAs, VGAs, phase shifters, inductors, transformers, and transmission lines, and associated circuit theory.
- Strong theoretical expertise in spatially selective multi-antenna wireless system
- Proficient in mmWave EDA tools and key design flows.
- Experience in mmWave/RF testing for receivers, transmitters, transceivers, and front end RF circuits using industry-standard equipment.
